Founding trainer and manager of Hill Street Boxing. Avery was born and raised in Southampton, NY where he grew up around sports and athletics. He was introduced to boxing at a young age and was immediately drawn to the discipline of the sport. Avery spent time living in Brooklyn, NY where he trained at the Gleason's Gym with former Middleweight Champ Iran "Blade" Barkley. After returning to the Hamptons in 2010 he began teaching his own boxing classes and training privately in the community for over 8 years . Avery is a Level One certified coach with USA BOXING. His love for working with kids & adults, creative combinations on the mitts and ability to focus on technique is what keeps people coming back for more. Book your session today!

Growing up in Center Moriches, Grant developed a passion for fitness & athletics at an early age. Starting his boxing career at the age of just 7 years old, Grant re-entered the boxing world at Hill Street Boxing in 2020 during the pandemic and picked up right where he left off. Now managing our NEW Riverhead location, Grant offers group classes and private sessions at both locations! As a USA Certified Boxing Coach, Grant welcomes & trains all ages!

Owner & Co-Founder “Big T'“ opened Hill Street Boxing with business partner, Avery Crocker in 2018. Finding a love of fitness through boxing, Big T was compelled to offer a fitness and boxing gym to the Hamptons! Big T is a USA Boxing Certified coach and known for his high intense workouts.

Head Coach of the Hill Street Boxing Riverhead Fight Team. Mattera, a protege of highly accomplished East LA trainer Dean Campos (Sergio Mora and Seniesa Estrada), attributes his initial foundation of knowledge to spending time in several professional championship training camps. With corner assistant Grant Keelan by his side, Mattera’s fighters amassed a 15-win total in just the Riverhead club’s first year of competition. “We pride ourselves on utilizing unconventional techniques to gain an advantage. Simply put, we try and be awkward and different.” It is Mattera’s hope that with his help, his current group of amateurs achieve their goals both in and out of the ring. “We’re trying to build a program, brick by brick. It is my belief that anything great must be built from the ground up.”

North Fork Native, Mike Webster has been an amateur boxer & kickboxer for 8 years! Even though he loves to train himself, his real passion is training others! With his 4 years of coaching boxing & kickboxing, and his Person Trainer Certification, Mike brings the perfect blend of fight & fitness to all his classes and private sessions!

Diversifying Hill Street Boxing with his 20+ years experience in martial arts, including; jiu jitsu, karate, muay thai, wrestling, boxing & more, Neko has an extensive background in the fight world. Coming off a win in his latest amateur MMA fight, Neko is looking to fight again in October. Neko offers private & semi-private sessions!

The newest trainer to Hill Street Boxing, Doug Millano is looking to bring a surge to our kids program! Offering a kids competition team as well as a adult classes, Doug’s fighting background and high energy levels will bring a level of intelligence and inspiration to push everyone to be their best!

Savannah who was born and raised in Riverhead is a USA boxing certified coach who offers knowledge in basic boxing technique. She is known for her great workouts and will definitely have you sweating. Savannah offers private and semi-private training for all ages. In addition, she also teaches group classes offered to both kids and adults. The passion she has to help people grow in not only boxing technique but also overall fitness is unbeatable.

A functional fitness & mobility coach, Colleen offers personalized stretching private sessions as well as strength and conditioning sessions. Colleen is a CrossFit Level 1 Certified Coach & has her Precision Nutrition Certification.

Born and raised in Riverhead, Marcos discovered his passion for boxing and fitness during the COVID-19 pandemic. He is a USA Boxing certified coach with strong knowledge of basic boxing techniques and fundamentals. Known for delivering high energy, effective workouts, Marcos pushes clients to their limits while keeping sessions motivating and results driven you can expect to sweat. He is currently on his own weight loss journey with the goal of joining and competing on the competition team, allowing him to train alongside and inspire others through both experience and dedication.Born and raised in Riverhead, Marcos discovered his passion for boxing and fitness during the COVID-19 pandemic. He is a USA Boxing certified coach with strong knowledge of basic boxing techniques and fundamentals. Born in New York City and raised in Southampton, Sebastian discovered his passion for boxing and fitness during the Covid pandemic. While at the University of Delaware, he was the founding president of the boxing club at the school. He would go on to become team captain of the competition team and place second at the NCBA Eastern Novice National Tournament. Sebastian offerers private sessions, where he can help to improve your boxing technique and train you to get in fight shape.
